Went here with family on NYE and had a great meal. The rice is amazing (get it with bacon). Lots of food, you will not leave hungry. Love the sauces they give you. Yum!

Starting out with some reasonably priced house sake was a great start. Everything from there on was flavorful, well prepared and well presented. The entertainment value is appreciated with the talented chefs that make the whole experience more fun. Make sure to ask the chef which of the sauces goes with each part of your meal. I found the flavor of each course to be good on it’s own but also great with the recommended sauce.

Great menu, staff is over the top great, and I love the big booths! This restaurant has a few favorite items for my family, and we love going here.

Just such a fun place to come to. Highly recommend it with family and friends and really enjoyed ourselves

Love this place! You have the option for sushi/sashimi or Teppanyaki depending on your mood and they are generous with this portions. Their food are tasty and I love trying new things from their menu because you can’t go wrong at Kobe Japan Restaurant!

We live close the the Kobe Japan in Pleasant Hill, Ca. We got to visit the Livermore restaurant tonight. It is so nice with big tables for large groups, a sushi bar, and hibachi where they cook in front of you. If you get a chance to visit Livermore or Pleasant Hill, you will love both locations. This is a good place to come and eat I lived in Livermore for about 2 years and never bothered to go in until me and my lady decided to go in for the first time the food was great service was awesome our cook was chatting with us while he cooked our food. I give this place 5 stars

We LOVE this Place!
This place has been through a number of owners. The latest incarnation is the best by far. Very good service – they want you to have FUN! The food quality is the best it has ever been too. They are sourcing very good quality meats and seafood and it shows. We frequent the teppanyaki room about once a month.

So I’ve probably been here about a dozen times now, mostly getting the vegetable tempura sushi rolls to go. I try and eat primarily vegan and I can easily accomplish that here. And my non vegan friends can order sushi, teriyaki chicken, beef, bento box, etc. and it is all good. My family and I even went here for Christmas dinner in 2017 and all 6 of us were happy with our orders. The prices are very reasonable too. Plenty of parking and a must visit in my book.
